First Saturday of each month, from 1:15pm to 2:00pm
Kan Ya Makan (Arabic for “Once Upon a Time”) celebrates the Arabic Language through stories, crafts, and movement. A storyteller from our community reads out an Arabic story to children in our library, helping them build language skills, strengthen cultural connections, and develop a lifelong love of the language. Each session starts with a dance, and ends with a craft activity inspired by the story, making learning Arabic fun, interactive, and memorable.
