Matias Hazrum is a internationally known, professional Arabic percussionist, musician, teacher and composer. Born in Argentina to Syrian parents, he started learning percussion at the age of 3 years old. 

Matias, a versatile musician with a deep knowledge of Arabic music, also plays keyboard and other arabic percussion instruments such as mashar, daff, rek, and others. He has his own style which distinguishes him from other drummers; his music is creative, strong, energetically powerful, unique, and charismatic. He has traveled the world working with orchestras, vocalists, and dancers.​
