The Iraqi national cookie, called kleicha, is a lovely marriage between a Fig Newton and Rugelach on a honeymoon in Iraq after a short trip to India. You heard that right. Yummy pastry dough infused with cumin and cardamom hugs the filling of dates, cardamom, and fennel.
