Alif Institute uses photos or videos taken during various programs and events in order to promote the Institute. Children/youth may sometimes appear in such photos or videos. Parents’ permission is needed before Alif Institute uses photos or videos featuring their child/children. Do you give Alif Institute permission to use photos or videos in which your child/children appear?

Policies and Regulations (Please read):

  • If your child has not attended classes with Alif Institute, there will be a brief placement test before the first class.
  • Tuition should be paid in full by the first day of class, by check, cash, or credit card. Tuition is non-refundable after the first class and may not be transferred to another semester. The return check fee is $20. Alif Institute is not responsible for classes missed due to student absences. Textbook costs are not included in tuition except when indicated.
  • Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of full payment. Cancellation of a class due to insufficient enrollment will be made three business days before the first class. Alif Institute reserves the right to cancel or change schedules, and change the age range for children's classes, fees/tuition, and instructors as necessary.
  • Alif Institute programs and facilities are available to all persons without discrimination by race, color, creed, age, sex, national origin, or handicap.

  • Ages 5 years old and up. (If you have questions, please email Kinda Hanano.)
  • 8 sessions, 8 hours of instruction (OFF SATURDAY, JULY 5)
  • Intro II   –  Saturdays, from 11 AM – 12 PM (Ages 5 – 8 years old)
    Beginner I  –  Saturdays, from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM (Ages 9 -12 years old)
