Oud Classes
Group lessons for adults and youth (ages 12 years old and up)

2025 Summer Oud Session
- 7 Sessions, 7 hours of instruction
- Tuesdays, June 17 – July 29:
- June 17, 24
- July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
- In person at Alif Institute (Chamblee)
- Levels:
- Beginner I:
Tuesdays, from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm, in-person at Alif Institute. - Beginner II:
Tuesdays, from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, in-person at Alif Institute.
- Intermediate:
Tuesdays, from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm, in-person at Alif Institute.
- Beginner I:
- Drop-in/trial class only if spaces are available. Please EMAIL us or call 700-936-8770.
- $175 for members / $190 for non-members, for 7 sessions. Pro-rated if you join after the first class. (For pro-rated payments, please contact us at info@alifinstitute.org.)
- Installments:
2 automatic payments of $100, total of $200. - The drop-in rate is $35 per session / $40 for non-members if space is available. (Pay in person. Please RSVP before class if possible.)
- Oud rental:
$35 per semester plus a refundable $150 security deposit.- Rental cost covers the entire session.
- Oud should be returned on the last day of class.
- There are a limited number of ouds for rent. Please check with us for oud rental availability. We also happy to suggest how to buy your own oud.
