- Three weeks in Atlanta, GA, based at Alif Institute.
- Program orientation and placement test (if applicable) on Thursday, June 5, in person at Alif Institute.
- 60 hours of language instruction
- 15 hours of cultural activities
- 75 hours total contact hours
- Classes and cultural programs will be held Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM- 3:00 PM with a 30 minute lunch break.
- Tuition: $1,360 (one payment) or two payments of $700.
- All payments must be completed by May 30, 2025.
- The final day to take advantage of the installment option is May 1, 2025.
- Scholarships are available:
- High school students may apply for the QFI summer scholars program. This student grant is open from March 1 through April 15. If you are a member of the Arabic Honor Society, you can also apply for scholarships through your local club.
- College students may apply for FLAS scholarship.

Program Details
Are you a high school or college student, professional, or language lover who would like to quickly increase your Arabic language and cultural skills? This program is for you! Alif is offering an intensive, in-person domestic program that will allow you to study Arabic language as you immerse yourself in the culture.
This three-week program will give you an in person, intensive language and cultural experience in your backyard:
- You will learn Integrated Levantine Arabic inspired by the Arabic as One Language Cornell University integrated Arabic model in tandem with Alif’s critical intercultural communication curriculum.
- We offer several levels of Arabic language proficiency, from Beginner to Advanced Intermediate:
- Students with prior Arabic language knowledge will take a placement test to accurately assess their level.
- You will practice speaking Arabic with Atlanta’s native Arabic-speaking community and engage in hands-on Arabic culinary, music, and dance workshops.
- Students will demonstrate critical cultural awareness measured by quantitative and qualitative means.
- Transfer of credit may be arranged with your home institution.
