Arabic Language Program for Youth
FALL/WINTER SESSION:

Arabic classes for youth are offered to ages 3 years old to 18 years old and incorporate both classical and spoken language.
Alif’s highly trained instructors create a unique learning experience utilizing modern classroom technology in a culturally nurturing environment.
IN-PERSON
- New students: class levels will be assigned after taking a placement test. If you don’t find your preferred time or day, please CONTACT US.
- Books are purchased separately.
- Class size: minimum 4 students
- At the end of each semester, parents are invited to attend a special program called Haflatuna (حفلتنا), to celebrate students’ hard work and accomplishments. These programs feature sketches, songs, dances, or poems performed in Arabic.

- Haflatuna, the final class, will be on Saturday, December 13 at Alif Institute’s main location in Chamblee. Students and parents are strongly encouraged to participate. Parents are asked to RSVP to teachers by Nov. 15, 2025.

PRIVATE TUTORING
- 1 – 2 student(s) – $45/hour
- $15/hour extra for each additional student
- Cancellation policy: Minimum 24 hour notification prior to class is required for full credit to be applied for to future classes.

- $15/hour extra for each additional student

- Please note: A transportation fee will apply for a teacher’s commute (door to door) over 15 miles.

Packages are available for purchase in 8-hour increments at a discounted rate. Classes must be completed within one year of the date of purchase. Please contact the Arabic Language Program Director, Kinda Hanano, for more information or to schedule a session. You can also reach us at 770-936-8770.
Package options:
- 16 hours with a 5% discount
- For in-person tutoring, each session will be a minimum of 1.5 hours.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of class will be charged the full rate for that session.
- A transportation fee for off-site classes will apply for a teacher’s commute (door to door) over 15 miles.
- Payment & Registration: Students will complete payment and registration for class or package of classes in advance.
- Tutoring packages must be completed within one year of purchase.

- Complete the registration and payment forms online.
- Receive a confirmation email and communicate directly with your instructor to plan for your first session.

Students will need to purchase textbooks and educational materials. After the first week, books will be available for purchase through Alif Institute. Please contact our Arabic Language Program Director, Kinda Hanano, for more information about instruction materials.
