Tuition: 

• Tuition for the Winter/Spring Semester is $505.
• Installment option: 3 payments of $175 (total of $525)
• Books are purchased separately.

INTRO TO ARABIC FOR ADULTS is specifically designed for adults and parents of Arabic learners who wish to learn Arabic and to grasp the fundamentals of the language. 

The course spans 15 weeks and will be conducted in person at Alif Institute. Each session will last two, running from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm. 

Days, Times & Contact Hours:

• Saturdays, January 24 – May 16, 2025 from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm.
• No classes on March 21 and April 4.
• 15 sessions, 30 contact hours.

Tuition: 

• Tuition for the Semester is $505.
• Installment option: 3 payments of $175.
• Books are purchased separately.

If you are interested to learn in person but aren’t able to meet at this time, we can create a customized in-person class with a minimum of 6 students. Please send an email to arabic@alifinstitute.org.

If you would like to join our Live Online classes but our class schedule isn’t convenient, you can choose our Guided Self Study option.

• Guided self study students receive video recordings of our Live Online classes along with all class materials and assignments.
• If you have any questions, you can email the instructor for clarification within the same week that the material is covered.
• You are also entitled to attend one Live Online class per month.
• It is strongly recommended that students join the first class to meet the instructor, other students, and understand all necessary information about the class.

Guided Self Study students have access to optional cultural activities beyond the classroom at Alif Institute:

1. One free cultural event at Alif to be determined at the beginning of each semester.
2. One local cultural field trip organized by Alif Institute for our Arabic language students. (Students will be responsible for their food or tickets if applicable.)
3. 50% discount on one cultural class or event (ex. Cooking, cultural evening…) at Alif Institute. (Special events, such as the Benefit Dinner, are excluded.)
4. Students are encouraged to attend other cultural events at Alif Institute as these will further enhance their language skills.

Options for private tutoring:

Live Online

• 1 – 2 student(s) – $45/hour
• $15/hour extra for each additional student
• Cancellation policy: Minimum 24 hour notification prior to class is required for full credit to be applied for to future classes.

In-person (at Alif Institute in Chamblee):

• 1 – 2 student(s) – $50/hour, minimum of 1.5 hours per session
  
• $15/hour extra for each additional student

In-person, off site:

• 1 – 2 student(s) – $50/hour, minimum of 1.5 hours per session

Class Packages & Discounts

Packages are available for purchase in 8-hour increments at a discounted rate. Classes must be completed within one year of the date of purchase. Please contact the Arabic Language Program Director, Kinda Hanano, for more information or to schedule a session. You can also reach us at 770-936-8770.

Policies & How to Register

• For in-person tutoring, each session will be a minimum of 1.5 hours.
• Cancellations within 24 hours of class will be charged the full rate for that session.
• A transportation fee for off-site classes will apply for a teacher’s commute (door to door) over 15 miles.
• Payment & Registration: Students will complete payment and registration for class or package of classes in advance.
• Tutoring packages must be completed within one year of purchase.

   2. Complete the registration and payment forms online.
   3. Receive a confirmation email and communicate directly with your instructor to plan for your first session.
