Course Overview
Intro to Arabic for Adults is designed for adults and parents of Arabic learners who wish to learn Arabic and grasp the fundamentals of the language.

Arabic dialects are forms of Arabic spoken by Arabic speakers at home and in everyday scenarios. Dialects vary from one region to another with many sub-dialects also present.
All Spoken Arabic courses are beginner-level but require some background in Arabic. If you have a question about your experience level, please send an email to info@alifinstitute.org.
Winter/Spring Kallimni Arabi (Spoken Arabic) courses are offered through the following options:

- Installment option: 3 payments of $175 (total of $525)

Arabic Reading Lab: Building fluency & comprehension
Speak Arabic but can’t read it? This course is for you!
Course Description:
- The Arabic Reading Lab is an 8-week, focused program designed to strengthen students’ reading fluency, vocabulary development, and comprehension skills in Modern Standard Arabic (fusHa), while incorporating light exposure to authentic texts.
- Students will learn how to decode words accurately, understand sentence structures, build reading confidence, and apply strategies to comprehend short stories, dialogues, and informational texts. Each session includes guided reading, vocabulary building, comprehension practice, and interactive discussion.
- This course is ideal for learners who already know the Arabic alphabet (its shapes and sounds) and some basic vocabulary, but want to improve their reading level, speed, accuracy, and comprehension of written texts
Prerequisites:
- Understand and speak Arabic at the beginner+ level.
- Knowledge of Arabic alphabet.
- This course is for beginner and low-intermediate level students. If you don’t know the Arabic alphabet, you can join Integrated Arabic 200 or private tutoring first and then join our Arabic Reading course! Please click on the Integrated tab or email us at info@alifinstitute.org.

- April 11 – May 30
- In-person at Alif Institute
- Total: 8 sessions, 12 hours
- Private tutoring (In-Person, Live Online) is also an option. Priced as private tutoring.
Tuition:
- Spring semester tuition: $210.
- Installment option: 2 x $110 (total of $220).
